Coloured, Merle and Fluffy Pug Puppies for Sale in New Zealand
Le Epitome Kennels breeds coloured, merle and fluffy Pug puppies in Waikato, New Zealand. Our programme includes all the ingredients to create chocolate Pugs , blue Pugs and lilac Pugs , together with selected tan point, merle and long-haired fluffy coat lines .
Le Epitome Kennels was the first kennel in New Zealand to breed a chocolate Pug and the first to breed a blue Pug. Building on that history, we have continued developing coloured Pugs through several related but distinct family lines, rather than relying on a single dog or one narrow line of ancestry.
Maintaining a broad programme allows us to observe how health, breathing, temperament, structure, movement, colour and coat develop across multiple generations. It also gives us more options when selecting suitable pairings and planning the future of each family line.
Depending on the genetics and timing of each litter, puppies from these lines may be available to approved homes throughout New Zealand, including Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington, Christchurch and regional centres.
Families interested in a coloured, merle or fluffy Pug can view our available and upcoming Pug puppies or apply to join the Le Epitome Kennels waiting list . Buyers are welcome to tell us their preferred colour or coat type, but every puppy is assessed and placed as an individual rather than matched to a home by appearance alone.
Health, Breathing and Temperament Before Colour
Colour, pattern or coat type may be the first feature someone notices, but none is enough reason on its own to breed or select a Pug. Our breeding decisions consider breathing, temperament, structure, movement, patella stability, veterinary findings, family history, DNA results and genetic diversity, as well as the likely suitability of each puppy for companion life.
The same principles apply throughout our chocolate Pug programme , blue Pug programme , lilac Pug programme , merle Pug programme and fluffy Pug programme . Our goal is to produce confident, affectionate and well-adjusted companion dogs whose distinctive appearance complements the whole dog rather than defining it.

Upcoming and Available Coloured Pug Puppies
The colours, patterns and coat types available from each litter depend on the genetics of the parents, the puppies born and their individual development. Some planned litters may produce chocolate Pug puppies , blue Pug puppies or lilac Pug puppies , while selected pairings may also produce merle Pug puppies or fluffy Pug puppies . Not every colour, pattern or coat type will appear in every litter.
Confirmed puppies and planned litters are listed on our upcoming and available French Bulldog and Pug puppies page . Families who are not ready to select immediately, or who are waiting for a particular type of Pug, can apply to join our puppy waiting list and tell us their preferred timing, sex, colour and coat type.
Availability alone does not determine placement. We consider the temperament, needs and development of each puppy, together with the household, experience and expectations of each prospective family. Approved families outside Waikato can also discuss suitable puppy transport options within New Zealand .
