Why We Chose Athena and Moby

Athena and Moby complement one another in temperament, background and genetic potential. Moby is the gentlest of all our dogs. He has an exceptionally soft, affectionate nature and brings the calm, people-focused temperament we value highly in a companion French Bulldog.

Moby comes from imported lines through his parents, Chocoholic and Mona. Both parents were DNA tested and were clear of the inherited diseases included in the testing available to them at that time. Their results form part of the family information considered when planning this litter.

Athena is a sweet-natured, capable and experienced mother. This will be her third litter following two successful previous litters. We have received no reports from puppy owners of inherited ill health among the puppies placed from those litters.

About Athena

Athena is affectionate, sweet natured and strongly connected to her family. Outside pregnancy, she regularly joins us on runs of around five kilometres, demonstrating the active lifestyle and physical capability that we value in our adult dogs.

Her previous experience as a mother also gives us useful information about her fertility, maternal behaviour, recovery and the development of her puppies. These observations are considered alongside her temperament, movement, structure and genetic information.

About Moby

Moby is our lilac fawn French Bulldog stud and has the gentlest personality in our kennel. He is calm, affectionate and easy to live with, with the kind of companion temperament we hope to pass into future generations.

His imported family lines through Chocoholic and Mona add valuable pedigree depth to our programme. Their available DNA results, temperament and family history are considered alongside Moby’s own qualities rather than relying on any single test or characteristic.

Possible Puppy Colours

Moby is lilac fawn, while Athena carries cocoa, chocolate and blue. Depending on which genes each puppy inherits, this litter may include lilac, chocolate, blue and fawn-based puppies.

The number, sex, colour and coat of the puppies cannot be confirmed before birth. Colour is part of the interest in this pairing, but every puppy will be assessed first as a whole dog, with breathing, confidence, temperament, movement, structure and family suitability taking priority.

Health and Breeding Assessment

We assess Athena and Moby as whole dogs. Their genetic information is considered alongside temperament, breathing, movement, structure, reproductive function, pedigree and known family history.

No breeder can guarantee that a puppy will never experience a health problem. Our responsibility is to gather meaningful information, make careful pairing decisions and remain available to the families who own the dogs we breed.
