Important information about unauthorised review websites
Three separate websites have appeared using variations of the Le Epitome Kennels name, carrying repeated reviews and substantially similar content. These include reviews-leepitomekennels and two earlier websites. One describes itself as our “official review platform”. None of these websites is operated, authorised or endorsed by Le Epitome Kennels. Our official website is leepitomekennels.co.nz.
The latest site, reviews-leepitomekennels.com, displays a series of one-star reviews under anonymous names or initials, with most displayed publication dates clustered between 6 and 20 March 2026. One entry is headed “24/11/2026”, despite displaying a publication date of 6 March 2026. As at 21 October 2026, that heading refers to a date still in the future. Several reviews repeat material from the earlier websites.
The websites began appearing after we took court action to secure the return of animals owned by us. This is relevant background, but we have not established who operates the websites or whether they are connected to the other party in that proceeding.
We dispute claims published on these sites. The repeated material, anonymous authorship and inconsistent dates raise concerns about their reliability, and we are taking steps to address the matter.
A number of our geniune puppy buyers have posted positive reviews to the claimed independent review site, and to date, these have not been published.
We understand that choosing a breeder is an important decision. We welcome your questions and invite you to arrange a visit to our property and kennels, meet us and our dogs, and see how they are raised and cared for. If anything you have read concerns you, please speak with Olivia directly—we are happy to discuss it openly. We can also explain the health information available for a puppy and its parents, and put you in touch with previous buyers who have agreed to share their experiences.
